At the FSA Basketball Academy, we believe in providing authentic engagement and accessibility for all players.  We have created a platform that supports positive social interactions and experiential learning opportunities between coaches, players, and families.  We are focused on player development using a 360-degree lens that does not hyper-focus on games and winning at all costs.  While fun and winning play a role in player development, they are not the central focus of FSA player development.

 3rd-4th Grade Boys and Girls Academy

• Practices schedules rotate monthly between 5:00 pm-6:30 pm and 6:30 pm-8:00 pm.
• All strength and movement sessions are one hour and rotate between 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.

5th-8th Boys and Girls Academy 

• Practice schedules rotate monthly between 6:00-7:30 pm and 7:30 pm-9:00 pm.

• All strength and movement sessions are one hour and rotate between 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. 

** Our model boasts fifty-nine (59) ninety-minute practices and thirty-three (33) one-hour strength and movement sessions.

• Teams will not be constructed based on the typical specific age/grade and A, B, and C standards. 
• Players accepted into the academy will have an opportunity to be thoroughly evaluated both individually and in how they perform in a team environment over eight weeks before groups are separated.
  • Once teams are decided, they will have a few weeks to work together before game competitions.

• All individual skill, strength, and teams practices schedules will be set upon completion of registration and emailed to you.   
• As with typical competition schedules, they will not be formed until late November and begin after Christmas break.
